Here at Norm's Hardwood, we have fallen in love with old hardwood floors. The character they give your home is something that is hard to replicate with new hardwood floors. 

That is why we have specialized in refinishing hardwood floors and bringing these classics back to their original beauty. There are several ways to enhance your older wood floor.   If there are no deep scratches, we may be able to just buff and apply a new finish. If the hardwood is too damaged, then we would have to sand the floors to bare wood and apply 3 coats of finish.

No problem! By sanding your floors to the bare wood, we are able to stain the floors to your new desired colour. We have various colours of stain to offer, certain to meet your desires and match your décors.

What kind of finishes do we offer?

 There are two types of polyurethane finish that we use: water-based and oil-based. Each finish has its advantages, and we are happy to discuss the options with you.
 
There are 3 different options for each: satin (matte), semi-gloss and full-gloss finish. These options are up to personal preference, and often will depend on the desired effect of the room and design.
